Summer Clean-up!
A warm July Saturday morning along the west side of Colorado Blvd. between Bella Rosa Parkway and Godding Hollow Parkway. Four times a year club members meet up at Milavec Lake Recreation Area to make sure this stretch of road is clean - just another small way Carbon Valley Rotary is impacting our local community. Thanks to all of the members and volunteers that help out each year!
Carbon Valley Rotary Club presented a $2,000 check on May 5, 2026 to support Suicide Education and Support Services (SESS) provided by North Range Behavioral Health. This is the sixth year in a row the Club has supported the program which provides Community outreach to reduce the stigma that keeps people from getting help when they are thinking about suicide. The SAFE:Teen program is designed to provide resources, help, and hope to middle/high school aged students. The students learn warning signs and walk away feeling empowered to reach out for support.
Thanks to everyone for coming out to Hart Park for our annual community Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th. We had a good turnout of children and families attend the event - we gave out over 900 free books and 12,500 candy filled eggs.We truly appreciate the support of our sponsors: High Plains Bank (Book Sponsor), The Town of Firestone, Agilent, Zadel Realty, Frederick Firestone Fire Protection District, United Power, Town of Frederick, The Yardfather Landscape & Design, Kona Ice, Braver Angels, Meadowlark Optical, Christian Brothers Automotive, Crown Resin Coatings, Carbon Valley Crossfit, Edward Jones, Primrose Preschool of Firestone, and Adventure Athletics. Carbon Valley Rotary Club presented a $700 check on January 6, 2026 to support the I Have a Dream program at Frederick High School. The club has been supporting the students since they were 3rd Graders at Thunder Valley K-8, and they are now seniors ready to graduate! Club members begin each meeting with "Happy Dollars" - sharing something they are happy or thankful for that took place the prior week. These monies have been collected to donate to the I Have a Dream program.
